Vivian F. Cessna, age 72, of Hammond entered into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

She is survived by her companion of 35 years: Donald R. Pena; three daughters: Rebecca Repasi, Elizabeth Cessna and Rachel (Chris) Olang; grandchildren: Justin, Nikki, Tra, Alena and Ireland; great-grandchildren: Payton, Johnaven, Mason, Viviana, Xavier, Yosiah, Yolani and Olivia as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents: Willard and Belva Sammons and several siblings.

Vivian was born in Ashland, Kentucky and grew up in Kitts-Hill Ohio and moved to Hammond, Indiana after she completed high school. She was a dedicated CNA and Caregiver who enjoyed hosting her family over the holidays. Vivian was selfless, independent and worked hard to care for her family. She was a great cook and loved to take care of and pamper her grandchildren.

Vivian's wish was to be cremated with no formal memorial service.
