Wanda Ann Tucker, age 72, of Hammond, entered into the gates of heaven on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Survived by 2 sons: Jewel (Ada) Tucker and

Terry (Yvonne) Tucker;

5 grandchildren: Wanda (Charles) Jackson,

Jewel, Jr., Joshua, Emma and Noah Tucker;

8 great grandchildren: Courtney and Charles Jackson,

Tyler and Sara Conti, Bradley, Issiah, Elijah and Juliette Tucker;

Former husband and best friend, Wendell Tucker;

Sister, Evelyn (late, Bill) Spain;

3 brothers: Bobbie (Leora), Vernon (Jeanne) and William (Shirley) Bolton;

Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her first granddaughter, Terra Tucker;

parents, Cecil Coy and Minnie Gray Bolton;

3 brothers: John, Leonard and Gene Bolton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, (Hessville).

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 2 ^nd at 7:30 p.m. with Father Theodore Mens officiating.

Private cremation will follow the service.

Wanda was born and raised in Kentucky and has lived in the Hessville section of Hammond for the past nine years.

She enjoyed making things for her family and was very talented at knitting, quilting and painting. She was a wonderful cook and loved to grow and can her own tomatoes. Wanda dearly loved her family; she was a sweet and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
