Wesley Ryan Kopp, age 35, of Hammond entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda J. Kopp (nee, Gordon);

Father, Ronald Kopp;

one brother, Ron Kopp;

one sister, Robin Bartel and nephews:  Timmy, Nick and Jesse, whom he loved as if they were his own sons.

Preceded in death by his mother, Gail Kopp.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Charlie Seminara officiating. Private cremation will follow the service.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Friday evening, March  27th at Bocken Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the service at 7:00 p.m.

Wes was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area, a graduate of Morton High School and Purdue Calumet. He was an H & R Block professional and a devoted Bears, Blackhawk and Chicago Cubs fan. "Go Cubbies". Wes loved the Lord and volunteered his time as a teacher at Hessville Bible Church School. He enjoyed listening to gospel and country music and was an avid walker. He had a great sense of humor and was very compassionate and kind person always ready to help someone in need. Wes was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
