Benny Reyna Sr., age 63, of Hammond entered eternal life on Monday, April 25, 2022.

He is survived by his children: Robert Reyna, Benny Jr. Reyna, Brittany Reyna, Isaiah Reyna; grandson, Gabriel Reyna; siblings: Chino (Tammy) Reyna, Cruz (Arnett) Reyna, Marina (Fernando) Rivera, Francisco (Zedeira) Perez: as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ebenezer and Maria Reyna.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time visitation on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond IN, (Hessville), followed by a celebration of life service at 5:45 p.m. with Pastor Joey Miranda officiating.

Benny was a lifelong resident of Hammond; he was a graduate of Hammond Tech High School in 1977. He worked at Union Tank for 30 years then for 12 years at Amtrak where he recently retired. Benny liked to work out at the civic center. He has participated in triathlons. Benny enjoyed going to the movies and watching football and was fan of the Chicago Bears.
