Brenda Moran, age 73, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

She is survived by her Husband of 47 years Lawrence E. Moran; Three sons: Dan (Janna), James (Angela) and John Moran; one brother, Bill Marlow; two sisters: Mary Barker and Linda Cox; along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Katherine Marlow; Sisters: Charlotte, Ruby and Louise; brothers: Jerry, Frank, Jean and Jim. 

Brenda was born in Fordsville, Kentucky on March 4, 1946. She has been a resident of Hessville since the age of 4. Brenda was very active in the Hessville soccer club, both as a coach and a player in the 1980s. She was also a cub scout Den Mother.  She enjoyed league bowling and playing Bunco with her girlfriends. She had a love for dancing, especially at weddings, and a special knack for making others smile. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.

Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial gathering to celebrate Brenda’s life on Saturday, March 7 , 2020 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
