Carmen Kowalski, age 82, of Hammond entered peacefully into eternal life on Monday, September 6, 2021.
She is survived by her children: Mark Wallace, Thomas Kowalski, Karen (David Morgan) Kowalski and John Kowalski; seven grandchildren: Sarah, Cade, Kayla, Sydney, London, Britton and Austin; three siblings: Marie, Earl and Michael. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death her parents: Heriberto and Cecilia Torres; two siblings: Efren and Lydia.
In accordance with the wishes of the family no services will be held, cremation will be private.
Carmen was born and raised in Chicago; she was a graduate of Chicago Vocational High School. Carmen was retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield Insurance Company where she was a Key Punch operator. Carmen was an avid Cubs fan, loved to bowl and spend time with family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
