Dona Kay Snoddy, age 76, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2021 with her loved ones by her side.
She is survived by one daughter, Jacalyn (Robert) Brabbs; grandchildren: Shelby (Wesley) Short and Ian Brabbs; GiGi to Weston and Rowan Short; special friend, Hubert Ross.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jack Snoddy; parents, John and Catherine Dobosi; brother, John Dobosi.
GiGi was born and raised in Chicago but has made her home in Hammond for the past 25 years. She was a simple woman who enjoyed the simple things in life such as camping with her family, shopping on QVC, going to the boats and spending time with her great grandkids. Dona worked many jobs in her life, but her favorite was as a server at Cracker Barrel in Hammond, where she worked for 15 years until retiring in 2006. She will be missed by many and will be cherished in the memories of all who knew her.
