Dora Ann Camp passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday December 14th, 2022, in Hammond, Indiana.
Dora was born on May 28th, 1963, to her beloved parents Novan and Darlene Camp in Hammond, Indiana. She is always remembered as having a smile on her face and laughing with all of her loved ones. She was a very kind and caring woman who always took care of those who were less fortunate. She took pride in her career as a CNA. She was very passionate about her work and loved those she looked after.
Dora had spent 36 years with her life partner Rudy Vela. She is also survived by her two children: Amanda Camp and Daniel (Melanie) Camp ; her three grandchildren: Devin Frank, Cora Smith, and Ella Smith; three siblings Dennis (Joyce) Camp, Donald (Diane) Camp and Debbie (Richard) Berwanger; and her nieces and nephews Michael McGill, Stephanie Berwanger, and Keith Berwanger.
Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service on Thursday December 22nd at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, (Hessville) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pastor Dave, a close wise council Dora admired, will be officiating her memorial.
Dora had this beautiful spirit, and she had faith that could move mountains. She is loved deeply and fiercely, and her presence will be missed greatly.
