Dwayne Eugene Williams, age 56, of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years: Lora Williams (Nee Anderson); step children: Jason (Dina) and Jeremy Stanley and Heather Cox; step grandchildren: Dillon, Brianna, Katelynn, Shane, Mariah, Jordan and Cameron; step great grandson Michael;  nephew: David (Felicia) Paulin, niece: Dawn (Joe) Koontz and his four footed friend, Ozzy.

Preceded in death by his mother Lynda Freeman and brother Gregory Paulin, His best friend Joe Fletcher and his fur baby puddles..

A memorial to celebrate DW’s life will be held at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323 on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Chris Matthews officating.

Dwayne was a lifetime resident of Hammond. He graduated from Hammond High School in 1981. Dwayne sang in  various bands throughout the region; including Fluid Motion, Mask, Easy Prey, Rocked and loaded and Bat Chit Crazy. He loved going to concerts with his friends. He was honored to be asked to sing the National Anthem for the Victory for Veterans Run at Wicker Park for the bike ride in September 2015. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and hanging with family and friends. Dwayne enjoyed hanging out on Sunday's grilling and watching the Bears with his buddy's . He is loved by many and will be missed by more.
