George John Vitullo, age 81, of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

He is survived by three children: George David (Amy) Vitullo, Irene Elizabeth Vitullo, Ken (Shirley) Vitullo; five grandchildren: Amanda Vitullo, Jessica Garrett, Jason Vitullo, Kenneth and James Vitullo; five great-grandchildren: Kayliana Degenais and Richard Stansu, Jr; Nicholas Stansu, Jacob Miglieri, Jaxon Miglieri. And loved by extended family from Virginia.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Delores Marie Vitullo (nee Rose); THE BOSS.

 Private cremation services entrusted to Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, IN 46323. A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, 10am-1pm. at Forsythe Park, 1800 Caroline Ave, Whiting IN,

 George was born and raised in Chicago, IL and has lived in Hammond for the past 42 years. George was a television repair technician until retirement. He enjoyed being a Two-way Radio operator Best known as the Whip and SGL-364.George was a man who did things his way and lived life with no regrets. He enjoyed time spent with family and was a proud dad and grandpa.  Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
