Michael Alan Norton, age 28, of Hammond passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

He is survived by his father, Donald Crozier; daughters, Brooklyn Norton and Elliana Henderson; brother, Nathan (fiancée Lorraine) Norton; sister, Amber Norton; brother In-law, Anthony Waugaman; niece, Bryana Waguaman; nephew, Bubba Waguaman; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Norton; grandparents: Donald and Joann Norton.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Private cremation to follow.

Mike was a long-time resident of Hammond; he enjoyed playing basketball, collecting coins and watching the Bulls and Bears games. He simply loved fishing, making his loved ones laugh, and supporting local rap artists. Mike will be missed by many.
