Patricia A. Parker, age 89, of Hammond was welcomed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 17, 2020.
She is survived by two sons: Mike (Darlene) Parker and Kevin (Joyce) Parker;  three grandchildren: Tina Parker, Christopher (Allison) Parker and Joshua Parker; one sister, Carolyn Downey; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Gordon Parker; parents, Samuel and Fern Hoff; two sisters, Joyce (Sherman) Nichols, Lynelle (Howard) Smith and brother in-law, Walter Downey.

 A private funeral Service for family will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. DIRECTLY at the First Christian Church of Hessville, 6733 Alabama Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Dan Nichols minister officiating. Friends are encouraged to send condolences thru Bocken Funeral Home website. Private burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

 Pat was born on October 5, 1930 in Calumet City, IL and was a longtime resident of Hessville. She was a longtime active member of the First Christian Church of Hessville where she was involved in the Ladies Fellowship, Bible Study and Choir.  Pat was retired as branch manager of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. She enjoyed watching Hallmark network, camping with Gordon and the kids and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her faithfulness as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
