Regina Lynn Osmonson, age 66, of Griffith, entered the presence of her savior peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Ken Osmonson; her mother, Patty Lou Adkins; five children: Terry (Rachael) and Brian (AmberLyn) Macchia and their father Allen Macchia, William (Warwar) Osmonson, Elyssa (Solomon) Gans and Cassandra (Doug) Colegrove; grandchildren: Alexia, Brianna, Dominic and Cadence Macchia, Joshua, Andrew, Spencer, and Emma Colegrove; sister, Elizabeth Adkins; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her father, Ira Adkins; two brothers: Michael Johnson and Richard Adkins.

 A memorial service will be held at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, (Hessville) IN 46323 on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Jason DeVries officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until the service.

Gina was born in West Virginia but grew up in Merrillville and was a 1974 graduate of Merrillville High School. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting landscapes and nature with acrylics, oils, or chalks.  Gina enjoyed life while fishing, hunting, camping, bowling, and playing billiards. She attended Faith Church in Highland and loved time spent with friends, and family.
