Richard E. Dill, age 70, of Hammond entered eternal life on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Kimberly Dill; two stepchildren: Chris (Nikki) Norton and Monica (Doug) Kooy; five grandchildren: Chloe, Sara, Haylee, Jocelyn and Marissa; two siblings: Charles Dill and Barbara Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry, and Dorothy Dill and one brother Robert Dill.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, IN 46323. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Scott Ferry officiating, burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
Rich has been a resident of Hammond for the past 20 years, he attended and graduated from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights. Rich was retired from UPS as a truck driver and delivery person. Rich enjoyed listening to rock and roll music and was a huge fan of the Rollings Stones. He loved spending time with family and friends, was a faithful and devoted husband, father, brother and the best Pa ever!
