Roxann Barton, age 69, of Hammond entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

She is survived by her loving significant other, Arthur Gross.; two sons: Joshua Crane and Adam Crane; grandson, Noah James Crane and numerous friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Margie Collingwood.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a memorial visitation on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). A memorial service will take place at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kiesling officiating. An additional memorial service will be held on Sunday July 9th at 6:00 p.m. at Hessville Bible Church 6518 Grand Avenue, Hammond, IN with a dinner to follow at Church.

Roxann was born in Hammond, IN and is a lifetime resident. She is a graduate of Morton High School. Roxann attended Hessville Bible Church; she loved spending time with and taking care of her family. Roxann was a wonderful cook and a few of her specialties were chocolate fudge brownies and pineapple upside down cake but her favorite to eat was a double layer white chocolate cake with raspberry filling. She loved being a flea market vendor; She enjoyed being outdoors camping out and fishing with her lifelong Indiana fishing license. Roxann loved the Lord and being in her K.J.V. Bible with her husband. One of her favorite verses was Matthew 26:41. She was a very loving wife, mother, and was blessed as a first-time grandmother by her son; Joshua Crane. Roxann was also friend to all and always willing to help others.
