Tammy Smith, age 60, of Lake Station passed on suddenly into the presence of the Lord on Monday, January 17, 2022.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Scott Brian Smith; son Trebor (Samantha) Crofton; step-children Nicholas Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, Delaney (Jordan) Combs; Emily Smith; brother, David (Paige) Engler; nieces and nephews: Logan (Taylor) Engler, Hailey Engler, Nathan Engler, Tina Maneno and Penny Belt.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Dorothy Engler.

Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. DIRECTLY at Zion Holiness Church of Portage at 5051 Central Ave, Portage, IN 46368. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Richard Westmoreland will follow at 1 p.m. with interment on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart at 10:30 a.m.

Tammy was a lifelong resident of Lake Station and had attended Zion Holiness Church for many of years; she formerly attended PSL (Pentecostals of South Lake Church). She loved crafts; sewing, crocheting, drawing and painting were some of her favorites. She loved her morning coffee, peacocks and singing but most of all her son Trebor. Tammy was a faithful woman of prayer and loved by many, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
